The Snack Out Foods

WYPI recently completed panel installation for a large-scale freezer storage facility for Snack Out Foods — a temperature-controlled environment built to support national product distribution.

The freezer room features a 250mm EPS core slip-joint insulated panel system throughout walls and ceiling, delivering high thermal performance across a 17m × 16m × 7.1m space. Prior to installation, an existing building ceiling was partially removed to accommodate a custom-engineered suspension system, ensuring the ceiling structure was safely supported from the outset.

Project features:

• 250mm EPS core slip-joint insulated panels — walls and ceiling

• Room dimensions: 17m × 16m × 7.1m high

• Engineered ceiling suspension system

• Underfloor heater cable to prevent ground frost heave

• Heated door frames to minimise ice build-up

• 3m × 3m insulated sliding freezer door

• Three pressure relief ports for air pressure management

The completed facility gives Snack Out Foods a reliable frozen storage solution designed for long-term thermal efficiency and operational performance.
