TSL Family Farm Project

WYPI Building & Construction successfully delivered a temperature-controlled cold storage facility for TSL Family Farm, designed to maintain the freshness and quality of strawberries prior to distribution. The project involved the installation of premium 100mm EPS insulated panels featuring 0.6mm commercial-grade steel skins throughout the facility. A 3-metre-high suspended insulated ceiling was constructed and supported by the existing structural steel framework within the shed space, providing excellent thermal performance and energy efficiency. Each cold storage room was designed as an independently temperature-controlled environment and fitted with insulated sliding access doors complete with heated door frames to minimise condensation and maintain consistent internal temperatures. This purpose-built facility provides TSL Family Farm with a reliable cold storage solution, ensuring freshly harvested strawberries remain in optimal condition from farm to customer.
